Stage 4 Pinerolo -Valloire (139,6 km)

The pelootn finally arrives in France. The route leads through the Alps. Thus inserting some big (very big)  mountains in the program is almost inevitable.

Col du Galibier is one of the first big Alpine ascent was used in the history of Tour de France. The ascent was introduced to the race on 10 July 1911
